HeaterMeals Sponsors 2008 Military Culinary Competition

     9/27/08 - Representatives of the five armed services met today in Washington, D.C. for the 5th Annual Military Culinary Competition.  The event is sponsored by the International Food Service Executives Association.  The Commandant of the Marine Corps was there to present the awards, along with six Washington Redskins cheerleaders, and Miss DC and Miss Teen DC.  The winning team received a two-week training program with the chefs of the Walt Disney Company.  This year, chefs from the Coast Guard walked away with the top prize.

     HeaterMeals helped sponsor the event, and our own Director of Marketing, Dave Blandford, was there to represent the Self-Heating Meal.  Despite the rain, Dave had a chance to pose with the winners, and the beauty queens.
