Elementary Class Celebrates Veteran's Day with HeaterMeals

    11/11/09 - Some First Graders marked Veteran's Day this year with HeaterMeals.  Students in Mrs. McCalla's class at Williamsburg Elementary in Williamsburg, Ohio were each given a HeaterMeals Plus Meal Kit for lunch.  With adult supervision, the entrees were heated, and the kids enjoyed a fun meal.  

     It was an opportunity for the first graders to learn about the operation of our Flameless Ration Heater (FRH), and to experience what members of the armed forces use to heat their own meals when they are in the field.  This is the fifth year Mrs. McCalla has used HeaterMeals on Veteran's Day with her students.  The first graders graciously sent us hand-drawn "Thank-You" notes afterwards, such as the one below.
